I speak as a man who has already passed 50, and who has seen the paradigms of society's values being inverted. Now it is the lamppost that pisses on the dog. I see with sadness the values of young women and men being depreciated, but this does not affect everyone, regardless of the environment they are in, I'm not generalizing. But this different and destructive perception was stimulated by the lords of chaos. The lyrics of this song are acidic as they should be, and the music video is metaphorical, as it should be. The goal of the message is to bring to the young the reflection that the beauty of youth is fleeting, but that does not mean it should be neglected, because the more sexual partners the young person gets involved with, the less value they will have when the right person arrives, and this will negatively impact the relationship, because that person will be compared to others, of which there may be many. So, be poor, but be rare, and you will attract the attention of kings and queens. Think about it. Lyrics
Being everybody’s favorite dish Ain’t power when you’re served to all Real power lives in being rare Getting to pick your favorite bite Or spit out what lost its taste That’s the real fucking power baby Your expiration date just hit Your flavor’s long gone and that’s it Now you’re nothing but just a garbage You’re the scraps of my plate That maybe some dog will try to eat Till they smell your rotting stink Being everybody’s favorite dish Ain’t power when you’re served to all Real power lives in being rare Getting to pick your favorite bite Or spit out what lost its taste That’s the real fucking power baby |
